I am born in Brazil to Pakistani parents and raised in Australia. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Monash University, I dedicated myself to Islamic studies at Darul Ulum Melbourne, where I completed the six-year Aalim course in 2009 along with studies under the guidance of my late father, Shaykh Gul Saeed Shah. During this time, I also obtained a Master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
I later pursued advanced Islamic scholarship, completing the Mufti course with Al-Balagh Academy (UK), specializing in the issuance of fatwas within both the Hanafi and Hanbali madhhabs. Currently, I continue to deepen my knowledge in the Hanbali madhhab under the mentorship of Shaykh Dr. Faris bin Falih al-Khazraji.
Alhamdulillah, I currently teach daily at the Kashiful Uloom seminary, and serves as head of education at Pillars of Guidance Community Centre. Additionally, I have taught courses for institutions including Al-Balagh Academy (UK), WISE English (UK), PGCC (Australia), and Melbourne Muslim Seminary (Australia).
