Hi, I’m Miguel, a Filipino language tutor and the creator of Comprehensible Tagalog Podcast.

I help students learn Tagalog in a simple, practical, and beginner-friendly way. My teaching style focuses on real spoken Filipino, useful sentence patterns, and clear explanations that make grammar easier to understand.

As a language learner myself, I know how confusing it can feel to study a new language, especially when the grammar looks very different from English. That’s why I try to simplify Tagalog using examples, patterns, and speaking practice instead of overwhelming students with too many rules at once.

I’ve taught Tagalog to learners from different backgrounds, and my goal is to help students feel more confiden using Tagalog in real conversations.
