I teach Reiki, and I have had the honour of doing it for the past twenty-three years, with 13 of those years teaching it online.

My background is an unusual one for this field, and it shapes everything about how I teach. I hold a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Education. Kinesiology gave me a grounded understanding of the body and how energy moves through it. Education gave me the part that matters just as much when there is no teacher in the room — how to structure a subject so that a person can genuinely learn it on their own, at their own pace.

I am also the Director of the International Reiki Organization, which supports them once they begin working with clients of their own.

What I care about most is that a student finishes able to actually do the work. My certification training includes a one-to-one attunement with me, scheduled at a time that suits you. There is a 250-page pdf manual you keep, demonstrations of  hand position and advanced technique, and certification at Level I, Level II and Master.

Reiki changed my own life at a point when I badly needed something steady, and I have never treated it as mysterious or reserved for a certain kind of person. It is a practice. It can be taught clearly. Anyone willing to learn it can.
