Milla Wehling is a visual artist and photographer based in Burgas, Bulgaria. She has been working with photography since 2012 and with fine art since 2015.
She studied applied linguistics and holds a Master of Arts in journalism and communication. She also worked as a German as a Foreign Language instructor for several years.
Working across oils, acrylics, watercolour, and photography, she transforms her own captured images into painted narratives. Her work explores the interplay between nature and fantasy, the intimacy of the portrait, and the quiet poetry of city life. Wehlings's distinctive process—from lens to brush—bridges documentary observation with emotional imagination.
Her photography has been featured in international Gurushots exhibitions, and her works appeared in Creative Light and Practical Motorhome Magazine.
