Maen Alaraj is a Lead Researcher at Global Communication Planning Co., Ltd. and Researcher at Good Money Lab in Japan with multi culture work experience and interdisciplinary research experience in Information Technology.

Maen's mission is to simplify complex sciences and makes them understandable accessible and affordable to everyone for achieving high quality of education. Maen holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Informatics from Yamagata University, In Japan with focus on Machine Learning and applying it on Brain Computer Interface (BCI) and Computational Neuroscience contexts.

He also received a Master’s of Scientific Computing with focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Pattern Recognition to identify Humans by using Ear Images.

Maen has an academic and industrial experiences on a range of industries of Financial Technology (FinTech), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Biomedical Engineering including Computational Neuroscience in Japan.

Before holding several engineering positions at SHARP, Global Communications Planning Co, Ltd and FVR company in Japan, Maen has taught several courses when he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Yamagata University on Science, Technology, Engineering and Signal Processing to many international and domestic (Japanese) students.

He has many published journal and conference research papers on Computational Neuroscience, Machine Learning, Time Series Analysis and Financial Technology.

Maen is Robotics-Certified Developer SHARP company, and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) with proven experience in cloud management including network architecture, database management, SQL migration, monitoring, and backups. .

Maen has been Involved in the software development cycle, from writing code, manage source control, testing, and deploying online.
