Melanie Caldwell, M.Ed. (Candidate), is the creator of the Growing Roots™ framework — a brain-based, neurodiversity-affirming model designed to help families understand what is happening beneath ADHD-related behaviour.
With over 15 years of experience working alongside neurodiverse children and families, Melanie brings both professional and lived insight to her work. As an adult with ADHD and a parent of two neurodiverse children, she understands the complexity, intensity, and beauty of neurodivergent family life.
Her work focuses on translating neuroscience into practical, sustainable tools that strengthen regulation, executive function, communication, and family capacity. Rather than relying on surface-level behaviour strategies, the Growing Roots™ approach helps parents build clarity from the inside out — creating structure that works with the brain rather than against it.
Melanie is passionate about ensuring that individuals and families impacted by ADHD truly understand how their brains work, because clarity reduces shame — and sustainable growth begins underground.
