Dr. K. Merrill Perkins has more than 15 years of experience in IT and
cybersecurity, is a U.S. Navy veteran, and holds a Doctor of Science in
Cybersecurity.
As founder and CEO of the Morse Group Institute of Technology, he leads the
development of certification training built directly on the published exam
objectives. His work centers on the CompTIA track, where he designs the
practice exams, labs, and study tools that carry students from no prior
experience to a credential they can put to work in help desk, systems
administration, and security roles. Every question he writes is mapped to an
objective and paired with a full explanation, so students finish a test
knowing not only what they missed but why.
He earned his own credentials while working full time, and he remains
mindful of how demanding it is to advance your education while a career, a
schedule, and a paycheck all keep making their own demands. His courses are
built for that student: direct, efficient, and written to respect the hour
they managed to carve out.
