About me
I am Michael Clarke, a Project Management Professional (PMP), project management instructor, and founder of Clarke Project Academy. I help aspiring and experienced project professionals prepare for certification through practical instruction, realistic exam scenarios, and detailed answer reasoning. I have also helped certification candidates pass their exams on their first attempt.
I hold a Master of Science in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Resource Economics and Business. I am also certified as a PMI Certified Professional in Managing AI (PMI-CPMAI).
Throughout my career, I have led and supported multimillion-dollar projects across engineering, procurement, construction, telecommunications, infrastructure, power generation, and project controls. My experience includes project planning and execution, procurement, commercial management, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, and performance reporting.
I founded Clarke Project Academy to make project management education practical, structured, and accessible. My teaching approach connects established project management principles with realistic workplace and exam situations. Rather than encouraging students to simply memorize terminology, I help them understand how to analyze a scenario, identify what is being tested, evaluate the available options, and determine why one response is better than the others.
My courses and practice tests are designed for aspiring project managers, project coordinators, business professionals, students, career changers, and experienced professionals preparing for certifications such as the CAPM, PMP, and PMI-CPMAI.
Through realistic questions, structured explanations, practical examples, and exam-readiness strategies, my goal is to help learners strengthen their knowledge, identify weak areas, improve their decision-making, and approach their certification exams with confidence.
Project management is more than passing an exam. It is the ability to organize work, lead people, manage uncertainty, and deliver meaningful results. My mission is to help learners build the knowledge and practical judgment needed to succeed both on the exam and in real project environments.
