I am a software and infrastructure engineer and have been working for financial institutions for 30 years.  During that time I have spent a lot of time teaching other engineers and presenting on many topics. through hands-on instructor led sessions to impromptu floor talks.

Many engineers are focused on the technical aspect of their roles, creating amazing tools that would really benefit others, but then struggle to convey that benefit in an engaging way.

I am passionate about changing that and giving everyone the chance to create engaging presentations and promoting their products and themselves in the best way possible.

I was diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) in adulthood, and the techniques I unwittingly developed to deal with that in childhood have given me a whole bucket of skills that have helped me become a confident public speaker.

I am addicted to learning new skills, from Parkour to needle felting (I'm currently trying to teach myself backflips), and would secretly love to be a graphic designer.
