I am a Civil and Structural Engineer specializing in earthquake-resistant structural systems and performance-based seismic design. I hold a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Pamukkale University, Turkey, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Benghazi, Libya.
My professional experience includes the structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete buildings in accordance with international design codes, as well as site engineering and technical office roles in residential and commercial projects. I have been actively involved in structural modeling, seismic analysis, and design verification using industry-standard software such as SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, and Perform-3D, in addition to AutoCAD, Revit, and Robot Structural Analysis.
In recent years, I have focused on passive energy dissipation systems, particularly Fluid Viscous Dampers (FVDs), with hands-on experience in nonlinear time-history analysis and performance evaluation of damped structures. Alongside my engineering practice, I am a digital content creator, developing educational material aimed at simplifying advanced seismic concepts and bridging the gap between theory and practical application.
Through my courses, I aim to provide engineers and graduate students with a clear, step-by-step understanding of damper modeling, analysis procedures, interpretation of results, and real-world implementation using SAP2000 and Perform-3D.
