Medical laboratory scientist for 22 years, performed routine medical testing in hematology and special coagulation in a hospital setting. Also, as an instructor for hematology and coagulation as part of medical lab student's clinical rotation program at the hospital lab. Worked for a private laboratory as the lead scientist for a pathologist that specialized in hematopathology including cytogenetics, hematology, chemistry, and flowcytometry.  Travelled and volunteered as part of a medical team to introduce new lab testing in Ethiopia. Currently working at a private lab that specializes in urine toxicology and patient drug monitoring. I also hold a psychology degree and studied positive psychology focusing on mental health and well being.
