Hello, and it is a pleasure to welcome you. I’m Dr. Mona Saied Fadela, a consultant hematopathologist with extensive experience in hematology and clinical pathology. Since graduating from the College of Medicine, I have combined clinical practice with medical education, focusing on creating clear, supportive, and learner-centered environments.

Throughout my career, I have trained and mentored many junior physicians and laboratory professionals in hematopathology. Watching them gain confidence and work independently has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my journey. Teaching is my passion, and I enjoy making complex medical concepts simple, clear, and clinically meaningful.

My academic background includes an MD in Hematopathology, a Master’s degree in Clinical and Chemical Pathology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery with honors. I am fluent in both Arabic and English, which allows me to connect effectively with learners from diverse backgrounds.

Hematology is a broad and vital medical specialty that intersects with internal medicine, pediatrics, clinical pathology, physiology, molecular biology, cytogenetics, obstetrics, and gynecology. Because nearly all medical conditions affect the blood, hematology plays a central role in understanding disease and guiding clinical decisions.

My teaching materials are designed for learners at every level—from medical students and residents to clinicians, physician assistants, scientists, and medical technologists. Each section includes well-organized lectures, clear figures, tables, and high-quality images, all based on trusted hematology references. I emphasize practical, real-world applications, helping learners interpret lab results and make confident clinical decisions.
