Morcos Awadallah is a software engineer with 6+ years of experience building production systems used by thousands of people.

He is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Aurem, a wealth and benefits fintech platform in Abu Dhabi, where he joined as part of the founding engineering team and helped grow the product through a $5M funding rounds. There he owned the platform's integration with the UAE Ministry of Human Resources, led full Arabic localization including RTL challenges, and established the team's code review and automated testing standards.

Before Aurem he worked as a backend engineer at Blink22, technical partner to Sidebench in Dubai and Los Angeles, delivering projects for global clients across payments, healthcare, and workforce management.

His stack spans TypeScript, React, NestJS, GraphQL, and AWS. He holds an AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Associate certification and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Alexandria University.

Outside of work he founded Code With Morcos, a community of 30,000+ aspiring engineers across the MENA region.
