I am a corporate security specialist, investigator, university lecturer and researcher with more than twenty years of experience in security, criminal investigations and operational risk management.

I previously served as Deputy Security Director and Senior Investigator at Orascom Development Egypt. In that role, I led security personnel, oversaw CCTV operations, assessed security risks and coordinated investigations involving corporate teams and Egyptian government authorities. My work included preparing investigative and risk reports, identifying control failures and recommending practical measures to reduce exposure.

My wider professional experience includes criminal investigations, international field operations, fraud work and corporate security leadership. This background has shaped the way I teach security: controls should be judged by how they perform, the evidence they produce and the business decisions they support—not simply by whether they are present.

Alongside my professional work, I teach and conduct research in security, criminal investigation and related subjects. I hold an LL.M. in Criminal Law and a master’s degree in Police Science, specialising in Criminal Investigations. I also hold a Diploma in Crisis Management from the American University in Cairo.

My courses are designed for professionals who want practical methods they can apply to real sites, functions and operations. I use realistic cases, structured worksheets and management-focused exercises to help learners assess exposure, write clear recommendations, build improvement plans and brief leadership.

I speak Arabic and English fluently and have working knowledge of French.
