Neil Jurd is the author of 'The Leadership Book', the best-selling leadership handbook.  Neil is the founder of Leader-Connect, a leadership training company whose award winning courses are accredited by the Institute of Leadership.  Neil has directed leadership training for Virgin Media, Sanofi, The University of Sheffield, Burt's Snacks and other well known companies.  Neil's articles on leadership and team development regularly feature in international news and business publications including Forbes Magazine, HR Magazine and The Times.

A former UK Army Officer, Sandhurst Instructor and until recently Director of  Army Cadet Force officer training Neil has an MA from Cranfield University, is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Lancaster University.  He was awarded the British Citizen Award in 2020 and was appointed OBE in 2021.
