I bring a practical planning background shaped by experience in community and neighborhood planning, public-sector work (land use, zoning and historic preservation), military installation master planning, facility planning, climate resilience, and disaster recovery. My teaching focuses on helping learners look at places more thoughtfully, ask better questions, and translate observations into planning actions that support healthier, more connected communities.
