Hello, my name is Onur Gürdoğan, and I have been working as a Spacecraft Operations Engineer since 2017.

I began my career in Turkey, contributing to leading organizations such as TÜRKSAT and TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries). Later, I moved to Europe, where I continued my professional journey with two internationally renowned institutions at the heart of satellite operations: ESOC (European Space Operations Centre) and EUMETSAT.

Over the years, I have gained extensive experience across a wide range of spacecraft missions, both in Turkey and Europe. My main areas of expertise include:

- Satellite and spacecraft operations – ensuring mission success throughout all operational phases

- Mission planning and control – from launch and early orbit activities to routine operations and de-orbiting

- System management in compliance with international standards (ECSS, CCSDS) – applying globally recognized practices to maintain operational excellence

Currently, I am part of the MTG (Meteosat Third Generation) Spacecraft Family team, where I am responsible for the Data Handling Subsystem (DHS), a core component of spacecraft operations.
