Biography
Pallavi Pandey is an academician, researcher, and global business communication specialist with over six years of experience spanning teaching, research, and industry engagement. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at CHRIST (Deemed to be) University, Pune–Lavasa Campus, where she teaches courses in business communication, management, accounting, leadership, and research methods across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
She holds an MBA (Gold Medalist), MCom, and is UGC-NET qualified in Commerce, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Management. Her academic and professional journey reflects a strong commitment to multidisciplinary learning, combining insights from commerce, management, economics, human resources, and emerging technologies.
Pandey’s research interests are broad and interdisciplinary, with a focus on global business communication, human resource practices, workplace well-being, sustainability, digital transformation, and emerging modes of work. She has published extensively in Scopus-indexed, peer-reviewed, and UGC CARE-listed journals, contributed chapters to international edited volumes, and authored and edited academic and creative books published by leading global publishers, including Springer.
Beyond academia, she is actively involved in leadership and policy-oriented initiatives. She serves as the President (Maharashtra, India) of the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce (WICCI), is a Member of the Small Island Working Group at NET Africa, and is a Co-Author and Educational Consultant on Small Island studies. She has collaborated on international projects with institutions across Europe, Africa, and Asia and has been invited to present her work at global forums and international conferences.
A passionate educator and mentor, Dr. Pandey has guided numerous students and researchers, mentored UGC-NET aspirants, led faculty development programs, and contributed to digital education through MOOCs and e-content development. Her work reflects a deep commitment to fostering cultural intelligence, ethical leadership, and globally relevant skills among learners.
