About me
I am Pankaj Shukla, an IIT Delhi Master of Techology in Computer Science and Engineering with more than 25 years of experience in Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, digital learning, emerging technologies, and technology-enabled education.
I spent over two decades with NIELIT under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, progressing from Scientist B to Additional Director. I chose to leave government service early to begin a new chapter dedicated to what I genuinely enjoy — teaching, learning, and making technology easier to understand.
My teaching philosophy can be expressed in four words:
“Don’t Memorize. Understand.”
I believe that a good teacher should make a difficult concept feel simple without compromising its technical depth. My focus is not just on showing learners what to do, but on helping them understand why something works, why it is needed, and how different concepts connect with each other.
My courses combine clear conceptual explanations with extensive hands-on practice. Learners move progressively from fundamentals to implementation, experimentation, problem-solving, and building complete applications.
My current areas of teaching include Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, AI Agents, Agentic AI, RAG, MCP, LangGraph, LangChain, Multi-Agent Systems, Python, Data Science, and other technologies shaping modern AI development.
My first Udemy course, “AI Agent Engineering: Build Production-Ready AI Agents,” has reached learners across more than 54 countries and has also been included in Udemy Business. The response has strengthened my belief that learners everywhere appreciate explanations that are clear, practical, and free from unnecessary jargon.
Technology will keep changing. Today’s popular framework may eventually be replaced by something better. That is why I place greater emphasis on concepts, fundamentals, problem-solving, and the ability to learn independently rather than simply memorizing tools or syntax.
Above everything else, I believe teaching carries a responsibility. Learner value, honesty, quality, and trust should always come before numbers or trends.
My goal is simple: if a learner finishes one of my courses understanding something that previously seemed difficult, the course has served its purpose.
Let’s learn by understanding.
