Rajvinder is from Mohi Kalan, located between Patiala and Chandigarh, Punjab. He started learning Tabla at the age of 5 from his grandfather. At the age of 10 he started learning from his cousin, Ajit Singh, in Mohali. At the age of 20, he began studying Tabla from the legendary Sh. Jaidev Ji and his father Pt. Kale Ram Ji from Punjab Gharana. Rajvinder is now continuing his Tabla studies at the Ali Akbar Khan College of Music with Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri Ji.

Rajvinder truly enjoys playing Tabla and has an amazing ability to pass on his Tabla talent to students of all ages, throughout the world. His teaching style is tailored for each student to ensure they get the best out of every lesson and that each student is progressing consistently toward their goal. He teaches systematically and takes great care of every detail while making it easy for the student to learn, retain and perform every step of the way.
