I am an educationist at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Genetic Engineering, with more than 25 years of academic and research experience in the field of molecular biology and genetic engineering. Over the course of my career, I have taught a wide range of subjects including Molecular Biology, Molecular Techniques, Functional Genomics, Genetic Engineering for Crop Improvement, and Recombinant DNA Technology to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
In addition to theoretical teaching, I actively lead hands-on laboratory training sessions, where I mentor students in the fundamental and advanced molecular techniques essential for modern biological research. These include nucleic acid isolation, PCR-based methods, cloning strategies, DNA/RNA quantification, gene expression analysis, and other core genomic and recombinant DNA methodologies.
My professional objective has always been to transfer conceptual clarity, practical skill, and scientific understanding to budding researchers. I firmly believe that students learn best when complex concepts are simplified without losing scientific rigor. Through my courses, I aim to bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and real laboratory practice, enabling learners to gain both confidence and competence in molecular biology.
With decades of academic commitment, I remain passionate about training the next generation of molecular biologists, biotechnologists, and research scientists, ensuring they develop the knowledge, precision, and curiosity required to excel in the life sciences.
