Hi, I’m Rosa Wright—a vision impairment specialist with a passion for helping children with complex needs make the most of their functional vision in everyday life. I’ve spent over 20 years assessing how children use their vision and supporting families, educators, and therapists to feel more confident in what a child can see and how to support it. I created the Learning To Look Program to make that knowledge accessible, practical, and easy to apply in real-life situations—at home, in therapy, or in the classroom.
I love turning clinical knowledge into clear, relatable information that actually helps. Whether I’m working with a family, running a workshop, or collaborating with schools and allied health teams, I aim to keep things positive, respectful, and useful. I’m also a co-author on academic work around cerebral vision impairment (CVI), but at heart, I’m most proud of helping parents and professionals feel empowered to support a child’s visual world, one small step at a time.
