Rui Machado is a Staff Digital Design Engineer at Monolithic Power Systems (MPS), working on cutting edge electronic devices for motor control and high speed interfaces. He has 10+ years of experience on Digital Systems Design and Verification.

Before MPS, Rui worked at Synopsys on  High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Controllers and as a researcher and technical director at DTx, where it lead a team of engineers across multiple research projects, from low-power designs to LiDAR systems prototypes for automotive industry. Rui also has 8+ years of experience teaching Digital Circuits Design and Embedded Systems Architectures, at IPCA and University of Minho.

Rui has a Master degree in Electronic Engineer and Computers from University of Minho and a PhD on Advanced Engineering Systems for Industry from University of Minho.
