About me
I'm a Lead Site Reliability Engineer with over 15 years in IT, currently running a Tier-1 mobile platform that serves millions of users for a global healthcare technology organization — an environment where downtime is not an option. Before that, I worked in regulated, high-stakes environments at Barclays, HSBC and Entain, where an outage makes headlines rather than tickets.
I also sit on the other side of the interview table. I conduct technical and mock interviews through platforms . That's the perspective I bring to my courses: I don't just tell you the right answer — I tell you what an interviewer is actually listening for, because I'm the one listening.
My day-to-day is Kubernetes, OpenShift, Prometheus, Datadog, Terraform, AWS and a great deal of Linux. I lead a team of SREs, and everything I teach is something I've run, broken, fixed or automated in production.
I teach the way I wish I'd been taught: a real production story first, then the principle, then you solve something yourself. No theory without a reason to care about it.
