Dr. Sherrita A. Denson is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in project management, strategic planning, and transformational leadership. With a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership and an MBA, she brings a unique blend of academic depth and practical insight to her work—making meaningful contributions across the nonprofit sector, higher education, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Currently serving as a program manager for a business incubator, Dr. Denson leads initiatives that support startup growth and operational excellence. She develops onboarding systems, manages marketing for educational programming, and enhances resources to support member success. Her leadership includes tracking performance metrics, facilitating mentorship, and driving both short- and long-term strategic goals.

Her past roles have included directing strategic initiatives for a regional nonprofit focused on housing insecurity, where she cultivated partnerships, led governance operations, secured funding, and ensured compliance with federal mandates. Earlier in her career, she held leadership in higher education, directing student life programs, orientation initiatives, and retention strategies that improved student engagement and institutional efficiency.

As co-founder and former program director of a youth-serving nonprofit, Dr. Denson helped provide housing and holistic care for over 100 children in foster care. Her contributions spanned staff leadership, program development, and grant writing.
