I'm a Principal Data & AI Architect with over 20 years of experience designing and delivering production data and AI systems, with deep specialisation in financial services. Over my career I've worked across Snowflake, AWS, Azure, dbt, and Databricks, and held senior roles at firms including Deloitte, KPMG, Amazon, and Oracle before my current consulting work.

Across that time my work has tracked the evolution of the field itself: from business intelligence and data warehousing, into big data and cloud platforms, and on to the modern data platforms and agentic AI systems defining the current wave. Today my focus is squarely on production AI. I design multi-agent systems, tool and integration layers, and the reliability and context-management patterns that separate a working demo from something that holds up under real-world load. I build these systems for clients, which means what I teach comes from hands-on practice, not just documentation.
