About me
I'm Shreyas Phatak, a delivery-transformation, capability-building and sustainable-performance practitioner with more than 30 years of experience across IT delivery, project and program leadership, Agile execution, product management and cross-functional teams. Much of my career has been spent in demanding delivery environments where client commitments, changing priorities, global stakeholders, team capacity and imperfect information all have to be managed at the same time.
In senior project and delivery roles, I have led complex technology programs and large teams, including a 70+ member modernization program at Persistent Systems. Earlier, at Wipro, I worked across delivery leadership and competency development and led capability-building efforts for 350+ employees. My experience also includes enterprise delivery, production support, product management and consulting for international clients.
Over time, my work expanded from delivery systems into the human behaviors that determine how well those systems function under pressure. I created Delivery Behavior Excellence (DBE) as a practical behavioral layer that complements delivery processes and dashboards by focusing on areas such as early risk visibility, ownership, stakeholder trust, escalation discipline and communication under pressure.
Alongside delivery transformation, I have developed and facilitated workplace well-being and capability-building programs. At Kisan Forum, I delivered a 15-week Workday Well-Being program for employees across IT and non-IT functions. I have also coached and trained professionals in self-leadership, performance, stress management, confidence, Scrum, Lean thinking and practical habit change. My coaching preparation includes an NBHWC-aligned Health & Wellness Coaching program.
My teaching approach is practical and workplace-focused. I am interested in what professionals can actually do when a client is sharp, a manager is demanding, priorities conflict, a deadline feels unrealistic, late calls become routine, workplace dynamics become difficult, or pressure begins to spill into life outside work.
The answer is rarely just "stay positive" or simply "push back." It is usually a combination of clearer thinking, better preparation, useful language, visible trade-offs, responsible boundaries, documentation, support and recovery.
That is the perspective I bring to my Udemy courses: real delivery experience combined with capability-building, behavior design, coaching and workplace well-being. My goal is to help learners remain professional, useful and self-respecting under pressure while making better decisions about what to handle personally, what to clarify, what to redesign, and when to seek support or escalate.
