I completed my B. Tech in Mining Engineering in 1984 at the Indian School of Mines, which is now referred to as IIT (ISM). That same year, I began my career at Coal India Limited, focusing on coal mining operations and the design of vertical transport systems. While employed at CMPDI, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, I pursued a part-time Master of Computer Applications from the Birla Institute of Technology. In 1995, I transitioned to the Information Technology Division at CMPDI, where I worked in software development until 2008.

In 2008, I joined NTPC Ltd and remained there until my retirement in 2021.

Additionally, I served as a part-time faculty member at several institutions, including BIT, Mesra, and the ICWA Ranchi Chapter.

After retiring from NTPC, I enrolled in various courses on Udemy. I dedicated significant time and effort to develop this project-based course on 'MIS for a consultancy organization.'
