Hi, I'm Sophie (Thuỷ) — a Senior AI Application Specialist at VinSmart Future's Data & AI Division in Hanoi, where I lead AI application strategy and build agentic AI systems for enterprise use cases.

I've spent nearly a decade in the trenches of data and AI engineering. Before VinSmart, I was an Associate Delivery Consultant for AI/ML at AWS Professional Services, where I helped enterprise clients architect and ship production ML systems. I've also worked at FPT Smart Cloud, Westcon, and FLINTERS — meaning I've seen data platforms from every angle: cloud-native, hybrid, on-prem, and everything in between.

On the academic side, I'm a PhD Candidate in Computer Science at the University of York, researching MLOps and Lyapunov stability for LLM retraining loops. I also hold an MSc in Applied AI and an MSc in Engineering Management from the University of Colorado Boulder. Since 2024, I've been a lecturer in Data Engineering & Big Data at the Vietnam Banking Academy, and I mentor at VNTechies Community.
