It takes minimum 5-10 Years depending on how much time you spend to understand psychology of stock market, Undestand various businesses and and more than that you will have to know more about yourself. You will have to go thru atleast 1-2 cycles of mkt, very important is you will have to go thru bear mkt cyclyes and undestand ruthlessness of mkt which will crush you and makes you menatally weak and insane.
