Dr. Johnson is the President of the Albert Ellis Institute and was mentored by Dr. Ellis himself. He is also a full-time professor of clinical counseling, director of a graduate MA program in addictions counseling, an author of numerous books and journal articles, editor of a large psychotherapy journal, researcher, and a specialist in treating trauma and addictive disorders, and co-occurring disorders, such as major depression. He volunteers as a psychotherapist for individuals who couldn't otherwise afford quality therapy. He is a frequent lecturer and workshop leader internationally. His goal is to help educate individuals to live healthier and happier lives in which they better reach their goals and enrich their relationships at an affordable price.
