I have worked as an individual contributor programmer for over 2 decades now. From offshore services company to a fully distributed start-up team with headquarters in the Valley. The core responsibility always boils down to mapping requirements to programs within given constraints of time and costs. That’s software engineering for me, every line of code either increasing revenue or reducing costs or ideally both. I have also completed my MS in Electrical Engineering but could not pursue a career in academia due to circumstances in 2008.

I moved to full-time teaching in 2022, soon the AI revolution started too. I aim to help students learn topics aligned with fundamentals using AI justifiably. AI is excellent as a curation assistant and automation tool. The knowledge of the user is non-negotiable. LLMs are matrix multiplications at scale, the correctness is a human responsibility which I aim to help you build for your context.
