I have spent fifteen years building inside Indian fintech. Not consulting on it. Not writing about it. Actually inside it, making product decisions, building teams, and figuring out how this industry works from the ground up.
I started my first company in 2010, back when the word fintech did not even exist in India. Since then I have worked across payments, lending, and risk at multiple companies, joined as the first product person, built teams from scratch, and watched people from those teams go on to Google, Mastercard, and PhonePe.
What I kept seeing everywhere I went was the same problem. The people doing the real work, in sales, ops, product, compliance, and business, were never given the knowledge they needed to do it well. Not because they did not want it. Just because nobody made it easy to get.
That is why I teach. Everything I share comes from real experience inside these rooms. Real decisions. Real mistakes. Real patterns that took years to recognise.
