Born in Ukraine in 1983, I discovered early on a passion for languages that shaped my entire career. At just 16, I entered the Kyiv Pedagogical University, and a few years later, I moved to Portugal. Starting from zero, I learned Portuguese and, within two years, was already teaching it. Since 2006, I’ve also worked as a translator of Portuguese, Ukrainian, and Russian.

In 2022, I founded a Portuguese language school in Porto, and after 20 years of teaching and translation experience, I created Your First Portuguese Course. This course is the result of my professional journey and my passion for helping learners achieve real progress in Portuguese with clear, practical, and motivating lessons.
