Ted Remington received his Ph.D. in rhetorical studies from the University of Iowa. He has been a professor at the university level for 20 years. In that time, he has served as the director of a college writing program and taught dozens of courses on academic writing from developmental to advanced levels. He has published numerous academic articles and book chapters and presented at scholarly conferences in multiple countries. He is the author of "College Writing that Gets Results: A Rhetorical Approach to Academic Writing."
