Valeria Carrandi is a textile and surface pattern designer based in Mexico City. She is passionate about all things DIY and has been making her own clothes since 2015, and sharing her insights for beginner sewists since 2018.
As a teacher, Valeria loves to inspire fellow crafters to start sewing clothes they'll love, with ease. Teaching in-person workshops, or through her published book "Stitches and Seams: Essential Sewing Skills" and in the online community, where she has taught 5,000+ students, she walks the aspiring sewist step-by-step into the creation of fully finished garments ready to be worn.
Her favorite part about creating is sharing the process & knowledge, this way the most interesting finds and skills are part of the sewing community, sharing the pure joy of creating and sewing clothes you'll love.
