I'm Lev Kamalov, a wedding filmmaker and co-founder of Vanilla Film.

For more than a decade, I've worked in filmmaking and visual storytelling, with a focus on weddings and real-life events. Through Vanilla Film, I've filmed weddings across the United States, developing an approach that combines documentary moments with a strong sense of composition, light, movement, and atmosphere.

I created my wedding filmmaking courses to share the practical side of the craft — how I read a location, make decisions in real time, capture important moments, and build wedding films that feel cinematic without losing the personality of the people in them.

My goal is simple: to share techniques and experience you can actually use on your next wedding.
