Dr. Vijayalakshmi V is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Data Science and Business Systems at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur, Chennai, India. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Annamalai University in 2020 and has more than fourteen years of experience in teaching and research.
Her areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Remote Sensing, and Earth System Science. She has conducted several lectures, workshops, and training programs on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Python Programming, R Programming, and Remote Sensing.
Dr. Vijayalakshmi has published research papers in reputed journals and conferences and has guided many student projects that focus on practical and real-world applications. She actively mentors students in innovation and research activities and encourages interdisciplinary learning.
Her teaching approach focuses on clear explanations, strong fundamentals, and hands-on practice so that students can easily understand concepts and apply them confidently in real-world problems.
